A “self-governed man” claims to have driven away scot-free after a bizarre interaction with a New South Wales Police officer earlier this week.

In a seven-minute video posted to his Facebook page, Glen Short, parked on the side of a country road, is shown toiling with a Wollongong Highway Patrol officer, or as Mr Short calls him, an “armed foreign agent”, who is trying to conduct a random breath test.

The officer asks Mr Short about his driver’s license, to which Mr Short responds, “Do you agree that I’ve said to you that is a commercial contract with roads and maritime services, and that is a separate corporation to NSW Police force, which is a different ABN – so you didn’t have consent by me, who I am the beneficiary and the executor of that legal fiction name.

“You didn’t have the consent to even look up the details of that commercial contract to the RMS because you’re a separate corporation,” he continued.

“I do study law.”

The man continued with a series of other arguments as to why he should not hand over his licence, including that he was “travelling”, not driving, and that he was not conducting commerce – both well-trodden pseudo-law arguments which often do little for those being questioned by police.

Mr Short then argues he couldn’t be arrested as “the state of New South Wales is registered to Washington DC on the security exchange commission” and required an ASIC form “to be able to conduct business lawfully in this country”.

“Yeah, nah, I mentioned to you before. I don’t know what you’re talking about,” the officer responded, seemingly becoming increasingly frustrated.

There is no record of the Australian government, its states or territories being registered as a privately owned corporation in the United States.

Documents often cited by so-called sovereign citizens are actually registrations related to SEC filings for securities and bond transactions.

The officer gestured to Mr Short that he would be arrested as the driver frantically wound up his window.

The officer grabbed hold of the glass as Mr Short yelled, “You don’t have consent! If you break my window, you are trespassing against my property, sir.”

Mr Short then launched into further arguments.

“I’m not placing you under penalty of perjury. You must provide the material evidence that you are not a business,” he repeated several times. “I know the law very well. I study contract law.”

He then claimed he was under the “global federal postal courts” jurisdiction.

“You are committing personage right now by trying to identify me by a legal fiction name. You do not have the right to do so. That is personage,” Mr Short carried on.

He went on to accuse the officer of treason and claimed he had beaten the chief magistrate in Sydney.

Mr Short then told the officer, “I will make ya famous,” warning “1.4 million” people would see the recorded interaction.

Mr Short told his followers on Facebook that he got away scot-free after the recording ended. A NSW Police spokesperson told news.com.au there were no charges issued, but the traffic stop was still being investigated.

According to his social media channels, Mr Short owns and operates Helensburgh business Rockmonster Excavations.

He is a “Student Patreon” of Mark-Kishon Christopher, the self-proclaimed chief global postal court plenipotentiary judge.

Mark-Kishon Christopher’s website offers followers, for a fee, advice on how to “eliminate your domestic and commercial mortgages, and debts” by “showing engineered fraud on your documents, agreements and contracts.”
